Elaine & Karen offered carriage club members 2 lengths of route for the drive from the historic Wheal Busy Smithy car park.
Routes
Short Route
A lovely figure of 8 route of 3 miles, part way on the road part on byways, crisscrossing and running alongside the railway line.
Long Route
The long route of 6.5 miles took our members out to the outskirts of Mount Hawke along quiet country lanes. We had to cross the old A30 at Blackwater and were very grateful to Julia Glanville for stewarding and making sure everyone crossed safely.
